Negative feelings, welcome!

Not so long ago, I used to have this believe that I should be in positive state of mind every single moment.
I remember when I was a kid, I used to have different kinds of thinking – negative and positive, without paying any attention.
The older I got, I started dividing feelings into different categories and labelling them either as ‘negative’ or ‘positive’.
Then I have decided to live a fulfilling life only with positive thoughts. I was creating positive corners in work and at home. No negativity allowed in positive corner!
I was desperately trying to sustain the positive emotions as often as I can. I was trying to push, numb all negative feeling in order to get rid of it.
I desperately wanted peace of mind only to realise that peace of mind is not about positivity. The more I have pushed the negative feeling away, the more they were knocking on the door even stronger.
All feelings are created by our own thinking in the moment 100% of the time.
I used to think that my feelings are created by my bank account or by people around me, only to realise that nothing outside has the power to decide how I feel.
Feelings don’t have anything to do with circumstances. Feelings are a signal of our thinking.
